It’s all good Benp!

Cura says 1 day 2hrs to print. I want a good quality, so I’m going to let it takes its time.

Anybody got ideas on how I can mount the cab to the chassis? Without rear body posts, it won’t stay level.

Default ScaleLifeNewbie’s TRX4 build

Prototype #1.

Adjustments needed:
Needs to be wider
Follow body lines better
Smaller back window.

I’d glue a magnet to that lowest body line where it dips in facing down and make an angled steel bracket coming off the frame for it to sit on

That’s a great idea! I’m going to try n see if the cab wall that I’m printing will hold itself, if not I’ll definitely be doing this

Well, now that my printer is sorted out, time to make some design tweaks to the flatbed and do a print!

I just realized that the stock battery location won’t work with this bed without a bump out on the bed itself. I’m going to do this and see how it looks.

Going to continue working on bed tomorrow, plan is to turn the bump out into a fuel tank. Sorry for the lack of pics, will be more soon!

I honestly can’t make up my mind. I’m going back and forth between a flatbed and cage. I think a cage would make more since because it’s tuned for crawling with having the fenders cut out, super crazy articulation, etc. I think I’m going to save the flatbed for another body. I want to do a hardbody without rust holes, dents and dings.
