| Taller Axle Panhard mount?
Does anyone make a taller mount on the front axle for the panhard/lower shock? I don;t want to lower my upper mount, I want to raise the lower one so the panhard is more flat and even through suspension travel. I have much more travel now. The stock config really isnt that good anyways, as the rod should have even travel above and below horizontal with complete suspension movement. Figured I'd ask here before I make one.

You are correct about the horizontal layout of the panhard bar for better / lesser lateral movement of the axle duringsuspension travel. But keep in mind that steering rod and panhard bar have to have the same length and should be running parallel to prevent bump steer. GRC offers an improved steering layout with a longer panhard rod, but the steering rod was still original length. I would like to see some pics of your arrangement, when you are done |

here are images of the TRX from the top picture with the chassis mounted servo. I just did the body last night, still needs a little trimming. It is a Sport for the 6 year old grand daughter. Last edited by MOguy; 10-13-2021 at 09:40 AM. |
