| Help me find some Arctic Trucks style wheels/tires?
I'd love to build my TRX-4 Defender to replicate an Arctic Truck style rig like I fell in love with when visiting Iceland. Does anyone know of some large volume and mellow tread tires and tiny deep wheels? Thanks for the help and here's a pic for reference: |

JConcepts has a few 2.2" wheel monster truck tires that are all about 5.5" tall and quite wide - the Rangers, the Renegades Jr., and the Fling Kings Jr. The first two designs aren't really too far off what some of the Arctic trucks run - the third has somewhat deeper tread. JConcepts also makes the wheels for them, they come with multiple offset hubs for getting that correct. You might need to install the TRX-4 lift kit to get clearance, but the sidewalls on these tires will also provide a fair amount of suspension... The Renegades would likely be best: |

You might also be able to get close by using a really wide wheel. LURC has a bunch of wheel wideners https://www.lockeduprc.com/search.asp?keyword=widener |

I agree, and would also get the 2.2 MT tires. IMEX used to make a big tire too, I just don't remember the name.

Not the most scale, but I stretch some lunch box tires over some 2.2's and I love the stance. Wild Willy2 rear tires and wheels look great as well, they just have a ton of offset. |

Next week, I can take a look at my tire and wheel stash to see if I have anything that would work for you.
