What chassis and skid are people running.

I want to keep the stock transmission. Brazin has a nice chassis for the TRX but from my understanding you need their skid (uses the Axial Pattern) to make it work. Their skid (shapeways) is expensive and I here many complain about turn around time.

The Scattergun 2 is the one I am leaning towards. I just am not sure what skid. There is intheworks and bowhouse.

I don't want to change my wheelbase, or have issues with the extra servos. The issue I am having is upward travel. In the rear I went the longer TRX4 shocks and up front I still have the stock ones but I have a my servo mounted on my axle.

I am not a droop guy, I want to sit down so about 40%-50% of my suspension is compressed. I have pretty much achieved that buy now the stock chassis is what is stopping my upward travel.

I'm running a spare time hobbies frame and loving it. You use the factory skid, so it is the best route in my opinion. I see that he is sold out right now, but if you contact him you may be able to get an update on when he will have more.
