Ar44’s ? Just curious if anyone has tried to put AR44’s on a trx-4? I’m stealing the axles off mine for my Gspeed rig... just exploring my options... Lou |
Re: Ar44’s ? I just installed a set of SSD Pro 44s on mine. You will definitely have to use an offset front axle housing. I already had the 44's from my old SCX10.2 so I just ordered the offset housing and axles shafts for my Pro44s. I did have to play with the upper links to get the proper pinion angle but I am also running the lift kit with the stock springs for a droop setup. The track bar was difficult to figure out but trial and error with many links, rod ends and spacers until I had it right. I had to run Junfac driveshafts to prevent binding against the skid during articulation. The offset PRO 44 still isn't far enough driver's side to be straight with the trans output in the front. Its actually kind of dumb how little it is "offset". Gearing will need to change as well. Unfortunately I have no advice there. I just ordered the two spurs and a few different pinions to see what I can work out. It is way too high with the factory 11/39. |

Re: Ar44’s ? Not AR44's, but I got Enduro axles under there pretty easily. https://i.postimg.cc/8z8V3V0c/20200723-132056-SM.jpg |
