TRX-4 withSpektrum S6280 and inner fenders

I'm looking to upgrade the stock servo and eyeing the Spektrum S6280. The question I have is does it fit on the TRX-4. My concern is the cable clearance on the inner fender.

I've contacted Specktrum and they yes. Then I explained my concern so they said no when referring to an insulated lead. I mentioned the non-insulated lead and they said "it should fit"fit. They have no clue.

Why that particular servo? You can get a more powerful servo for the same price or less.

If they're in stock I'd recommend the Savox 2290 or the Holmes Hobbies SHV 500 V3
The 2290 is wired the same as a normal servo but the SHV 500 V3 is a direct power servo which will require you solder in a lead to give it power.

Those 2 are used heavily by the crawler community, the one you listed I've never even heard of before. Its pretty uncommon for folks around here to buy a Spectrum servo as an upgrade, they're not the go to option at least.

Oh and to your question the wires shouldn't be an issue and if for some reason it is just notch the inner fender so it clears. Typically you dont run into issues like these though, I've never had a servo with this issue.

The Savox and HH are a bit too chatty for me. The servo noise is like nails on a chalkboard, no actually I like nails on a chalkboard better.

The Specktrum seems to be extremely quiet and still perform well. Others have recommended the MKS, but I would like a waterproof servo for piece of mind. I don't plan to run it in the water, but hosing it off is a nice option. Also the waterproof servos are dirt proof by definition.
