My TRX4 life So, I got my TRX4 as a Tactical a few years ago: https://live.staticflickr.com/4589/2...9df40a4d_b.jpg Sold the stock TX/RX and replaced with my FrSky stick TX/RX which I also used for my drones. Quickly changed wheels and tires to BoomRacing Krait beadlocks with some generic AliExpress tyres: https://live.staticflickr.com/4743/3...eef33215_b.jpg Also added some 3d printed window armor: https://live.staticflickr.com/4743/4...af35db3a_b.jpg the AliExpress tyres were crap, so I changed them out for some Duratrax Approach CR: https://live.staticflickr.com/955/26...f19cfb04_b.jpg Drove around like that for a good while and it performed as intended. Wanted new looks, so sold the BoomRacing Krait beadlocks and bought some BoomRacing TE37 beadlocks: https://live.staticflickr.com/7879/3...0e4bdd1b_b.jpg Shortened the wheelbase and bought a ProLine Toyota 4Runner body: https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...c052dae2_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...0af1d809_b.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...1b986c65_b.jpg Installed a Hobbywing Quicrun 1080 with 3d printed mount, Savöx 1283SG, Bowhouse RC servo winch mount with 20kg servo and HeyOK 3 position winch controller. Also bought different tyres, ProLine BFGoodRich KO2. Hope to get it somewhere next week so I can test everything the weekend after. |

Re: My TRX4 life Yeah, it's a great route built by some awesome people from around there. About 1,5h drive away from me in Belgium, but very much worth it. Got the SR515 receiver in, and hooked everything up, set the endpoints and it works fantastic. Now to find some time to test it in the appropriate terrain instead of the living room :ror: |
