Default Endbell motor support

Does anybody manufacture additional motor support for the Trx4? Some sort of bracket or support that goes under, or attaches to the “servo side” of the motor? I have some ideas for such a component (one that doesn’t interfere with suspension travel), but lack the engineering skills and equipment. Just wondering if someone has beaten me to the punch. Thanks.

So far as I know such a thing doesn't exist, because so far as I can tell, it's not necessary. One of my TRX-4s has had a Hobbywing AXE 550 in it since just about day one, never a problem. A driveshaft is gonna snap in half before the motor moves in it's mount.

Just use an aluminum one piece design like this. Zero movement.

The motor isn't going to go anywhere. There are 1000s of trx4s getting the crap beat out of them daily with some pretty serious brushless motors powering them. The list is extensive of things that fail eventually but that isn't one of them.

I echo what the others have said, it’s totally unnecessary.

I could see the necessity for a basher type rig but the TRX4 works well in the stock motor mount configuration.

I’ve brushed and brushless TRX4s running 4 or 6s and they’ve been fine for the last 2 years or more, they’re still both on the factory plastic motor mounts!

I agree. It’s unnecessary. It’s a TOY TRUCK! Nothing about it is necessary! An AXE 550? Unnecessary. A full aluminum motor mount? Unnecessary. I simply asked if anyone knew of such a thing. If the answer is no, then so be it. Thank you very much. Your personal necessity barometer is irrelevant.

You know what is completely unnecessary? This forum. I am indeed in the wrong place. I sincerely wish the helpful members of this forum the very best of luck.

Dude chill. People simply trying to ease your concern about the thought you may have needed one for whatever set up you want to go with.

Yeah... I read back over the replies trying to find the mean triggering comments that could've pushed OP over the edge and off the board. Honestly couldn't find anything.

Opinions aren't necessarily criticisms and criticisms aren't necessarily rude. I see no flaming, no nasty comments, no bashing of any kind. Just some opinions that OP apparently wasn't prepared to deal with lol.

The internet definitely isn't for everyone!
