Pro scale light question

Hi I have the traxxas pro scale light kit for my trx4 high trail and I recently changed my esc to the hobbywing fusion pro and can’t get my lights to work at all. I’ve tried adapters for the jst power and also tried a separate battery for them. What else is there for options to get it powered?

edit: I'm assuming you are talking about the TRX4M

I've built a controller that gets the lights working when you are running a new ESC and receiver. Keep in mind that for the brake lights to work properly, your ESC needs to be set to "instant reverse".

One version I make uses a light sensor to turn on/off the headlights

I have the same combo, let me look at it tomorrow as I forgot how I got it working. No need for any extra parts though.
