*Due to a scheduling conflict with the 1:1 event going on at Glen Helen Raceway the same weekend we were required to change the venue for the 2nd race in the "Summer Series".*

We wil be back at the Glen Helen location for the 3rd race in the series coming in late June. We apologize for the late notice and hope you can join us at "The Compound" next weekend on the 24th.

The offer still stands for anyone coming in from outta town that wants to camp out. There is tons of parking if you need to stay and play.

*The track is a total of over 1500' for one lap. It's a medium length closed course. There is open desert sections, rock sections, and even a short course "rock race" track.

*RUNNING BEHIND YOUR RIG IS NOT REQUIRED. The course is designed so your car covers the distance not YOU.

*A minimum radio range of 100' is recommended.

*Multi-lap heat racing format.

*Approx. a 75/25 ratio of desert/rocks. For you "set-up" wizards!

*See you on the rocks!

There is a lil longer way in that everyone uses to get their trailers in and out around here. Anyone needing alternate "trailer" route directions, shoot me a pm.

A big thanks to all who made it out. And thanks to all involved in getting this race together!...

The racing was action packed, with several heated battles for transfer positions during heat racing. Many passes happened in the tougher rock sections where line choice was critical, many of the rigs would struggle just a little with a bad line and get passed by a rig with the better line. Racing in the LCQ proved prosperous for the slower rigs with methodical drivers that held their lines well and minimized rollovers. And racing for the podium in the Mains was just plain awesome! 1.9" Main was filled with the excitement of lead changes, passes, rollovers!.. 2.2" Main was an absolute "dog fight" with 10 rigs on the track at the same time. The first corner looked absolutely awesome with all the rigs coming in hot, all looking for the "holeshot"....

A big congrats to Don Hughes 1.9" 1st Place finish! And another big congrats to Jake Wright for the solid 2.2" 1st Place Finish!....Can't wait til the next one back @ Glen Helen R/C Raceway! Tentative for late June, probably start late, then race into the night under the lights to beat the heat!...

That track looks fun! I wish I could have made it but hopefully I will see some of you guys at RCX? After this weekend it is time to run the IFS rig and get it bang'd up a bit! I wanted to keep it nice for the show. Do you guys ever run the track during the week days?
