We can reword the rules to clarify. But IFS/IRS would be legal in 2.2Comp, or 2.2 Trophy depending on the rig.

Since this is a "race" and there are heats and mains...do we need transponders? If so, what kind?

We have a house transponder system. We issue one to you prior to your heat.

In 2.2 Trophy IRS is legal when it is hand fabbed. Early on we had several hand built rigs with "fabbed" rear IRS suspensions. The rule is still in place but we haven't seen a IRS Trophy rig in more than a year.

As far as 2.2 Comp(open) IRS is allowed. Basically to allow EXO drivers to compete. But like in "Trophy" class we haven't seen an IRS "Comp" class rig in awhile. The drivers that ran them have all but switched back to solid axle rigs.

I don't think the IRS held up well on the heavy Trophy rigs. Hope that clears up any questions.

We realize there are some parts of the rules that are less than clear. We are constantly discussing this. Expect the 2.2 Trophy vehicle specs to be much more clear next time. That should be interpreted as min chassis dimensions, specs, and panel requirements written to preserve the scale KOH appearance of the rigs.

New to this U4RC class. Building a 1,9 rig but has anyone ran a Dinky DDK and Dinky GR7 trans? Is it legal?

We are changing the measurements and will hopefully have them up soon. We are trying to get them up as soon as possible so that it will give people time to build or change things for the coming year. We are not making any major changes but there will be some. There will new height, width and chassi lengths.
