chassis question
 

Sorry if this kind of a noobish question. I am thinking of building an ultra 4 truck.

Is a metal tube chassis a requirement?

Can one be built with a stock wraith or scx10 chassis?

Do most people run scx10 axles or wraith axles?

I have both chassis so it would be a mater of swapping parts around.
I appreciate the help here.

There are four classes that covers everything you were asking about. Check out the rules/specs thread at the top of the page for the requirements. Basically the classes are sorted by tire size first, 2.2 Trophy is the custom, metal chassis class, 2.2 Comp is where you'll find Wraiths and Exos, 1.9 Comp has mostly Twin Hammers and some custom rigs, 1.9 Trail has the SCX10 scalers. But check out the rules thread for all the requirements. The cool thing is that the rules were drafted to be really inclusive and allow room for creativity and innovation.
