That there took about 5 minutes!.... Breaking in a new track always "breaks" a rig.

This track has easily twice the length of technical rock than Glen Helen. More dirt and rock are scheduled for this track. We would love to hear some local opinions, input, suggestions, etc...

That's the plan. We started with a flat dirt lot and a couple piles of rock. After weed abatement, trash removal, and discussing the layout we got right to work.

We had a skid steer which helped greatly. All said, from the time we arrived to what you see here (I'll post a short video clip today) took 5 people a total of 4 hours from start to finish. And now there is an excellent working track that can be expanded on.

It really is that easy!

Not sure if this would be a good idea or not but how about a double but with sand in between the double so it will be a basic hail mary hail ass or u might be spining for a while? ALSO while I am at it a lane width of rock 10 ft long but a 12" down themiddle of dirt, so it funnels drivers to either slight hiteach other or take the rock, that way u r actually racing but also trying to get that edge on the other guy and hit that 12" dirt path in the middle before the next guy.

There is more than enough bashing into each other without forcing cars to do so.

Thanks for the input everyone. Here are some approximate numbers for the CVRC/Heritage Park U4RC track; length 450'+, (1) step-up jump,(1) double, (1)kicker, (1) ravine, (5)sections of rocks, loose sand/silt area, a straight away, and turns. More to come as the track progresses. Like RPD said this is a great basis for a track to be expanded on.

We are working with some of the local San Diego area guys that plan to help upgrade, maintain and run this track. All of the inputs for the track layout are appreciated and will be put into consideration when each track upgrade occurs.
