Default Ring and Pinion question

Curious which you guys run or suggest.
I know for a crawler, OD/UD keeps the nose planted but curious how it affects racing.

Finalizing the running gear on my Ultra 4 / trail rig

I'm running HD OD up front and HD UD in the rear

Curious if you run this setup or stock ratios front and rear or just OD or just UD.

Thanks in advance

OD/UD works fine for me at 25mph+ but the OD gear is pretty weak so I'm switching to stock ratio HD in the front.

There is only one OD gear set so yes the HD OD gear set. If you aren't running big power it might work out better for you.

You will probably be fine. I'm running a more powerful motor than that and on 4s too so more than double the power you are. I would run it and have fun. If you ever have a problem switching to the stock ratio HD gears in the front will gain you some strength.
