Default ESC gearing?? castle SCT U4 RIG

Hey guys, just installed a CC Sidewinder SCT with 3800kv motor W/5mm shaft.
gearing as of now 32p 15t pinion/56t spur everything runs great on 2s. We all know 3s really wakes the rig up ( haven't drove my rig with 3s yet).
here's my question for the guys running similar ESC combo CC SV3,SV2, SCT.
What gearing (32P) are you running with a 3s battery and for how long.

I know slap a 3s in the rig and watch temp and lower pinion or lager spur if motor gets to hot 180-200ish.
Rather know what works, with out burning up my motor

thanks for your time.

I don't run the CC SCT set up Matt. I run a Tekin RSpro with a HH 10.5t brushless mated to a SCX10 tranny. My 32 pitch gearing is 15t and 54t.

Hopefully that helps man.

My set-up: I run an RX8 and 3300 on 3's in my 8lb rig. I have underdrive gears in both axles and 13/56 pinion and spur. It gets pretty warm at the end of a 10 minute main, but no issues ever with it. I have killed a few high discharge lipo packs with this combo.

Bashed around my property today geared with 15/56 32p 3s rig seemed fine. I'll stick with this for now..
Time to get some HR or Locked-up diff lockers.

Hey Matt, I run that setup but I am running 54/13 so I would assume 56/15 is on point for your setup!
