For the guys running these, how are they holding up to the punishment? I'm looking to shed some weight..

Good to know! How much does your rig weigh, if you don't mind me asking?

I had to add almost 1/2 lb to my car to meet weight when I switched from the Pitbulls, Plastic Axial beadlocks, and DD foams, to the Ottsix U4, 6 bolt, DW combo.

Are you happy with that set-up? That's exactly what I want to try out.

Yes extremely! Before, the rig was nowhere near as stable, and had a tendency to traction roll a lot. I think mostly based on the size and shape of the Pitbull. With the new combo I can throw the rig into the corners no problem. The lighter weight and FAR superior forward bite of the U4's makes the rig come out of the corners faster.

I also notice that I can now nail the throttle off the line and the rig goes straight where as before it would just beak free and fish tail.

RPD,

Did you use the short or tall DW foam in the Voodoo's?

I got the wheels and short DW foams today and Im still not sure if I want to glue up the U4 or the BFG's on the 6 bolt wheels..

Ive been running the BFG's and like them but after a test today with the U4's Im undecided.. They seem more predictable at speed and hook really well in the rocks.

The U4 tires are slightly taller and have a flat wide footprint. I prefer the looks of the BFG's..

The 6Bolts are made by DE for CI...like everything else DE makes they are 100% top shelf, I've put untold hrs on mine and they're flawless in every way

'standard' DW foams for the Voodoo U4 (they're the shorter of the two sizes)

I hear ya! They are pretty damn impressive right out of the package with out a proper break in..

I love the looks of my worn BFG's but this is racing and has to be performance first
