I would say the Trailmaster BL pro is Easily in the same category as these motor's.
If not ahead of them, specially when considering price to performance value, the Trailmaster kills them...

You should be getting a proto of the TrailMaster Pro BL 540 today if not already. It's surprising how good a two pole can be when we don't stick to the rules that racing motors are limited by! You should find it much more controllable, cooler running, and more efficient than what you have run so far I'm still flabbergasted over it, I would have never in a million years thought a two pole would tickle my fancy so well.

CKRC can have them in stock any time they want. The Pro and Sport models we have in stock now are excellent motors, yet we have been able to continue improvements as time goes by. We have one more change beyond what winner has as well, so the question of when such proto motors will be available as production is one that I cannot answer.

Your proto is not waterproofed Mr. Winner. We are working towards having them done during production, but thusfar no factory has been able to meet our in-house abilities. You should run a pack through your existing motor and record the temperature before swapping out. Whichever rig currently has a TrailMaster Pro or Sport motor would be my suggestion for the swap so you can compare apples to apples.

Lol.. Hittman has a 540xl?

Waiting on front axle for my scx now.. I'll test it in that first..(it have the trailmaster in it now)
Then a 2.2 rig.. As the Sexo had the other one in it, I'll know best the changes in that one. (Over the yeti)

The yeti wants/Needs the 540xl!

Doh, meant you and had Hitt on the brain. You got the regular 540 with solder tabs, yes? There was some shipping mixup so I should double check who got what.

We will have 540XL motors in about 5 weeks if all goes smoothly.

What kind of kv should we be expecting? Debating waiting for the 540xl, or tracking down an elusive Pro4 HD 3000kv.

Hate to ask, was this on 2 or 3s? A buddy has one of these systems new in the box for sale for $65, but they list it as a 2s capable system with the 3800kv motor. Will the reduced ratios of a rock rig VS. an SC truck make a big enough difference that the system can be run on 3s? A BEC is in the plans regardless, just curious what I can get away with putting through this thing for power.
