Default Axial EXO in U4RC?

Hi All

Has anyone seen or raced a Axial EXO in U4RC, I'm interested in how it performed against the solid axle rear cars like the Yeti and Wraiths with 2.2" tires fitted

Is the IRS a weak point?

Cheers
Marc

Hey Marc, yes we have seen Exos' race at U4RC events. In fact I do believe an Exo won or placed top 3 in some of our earlier series.

As far as IRS a week point? I don't know for sure how much $$$ that racer put into his Exo. Hope this info helps a little bit.

Thanks for the reply, much appreciated.

I thought it might scratch up its belly pan and struggle a bit in the technical section of the U4RC race courses, but I could see it doing well in the faster sections of the track.

I cant find many pics of the Exo with 2.2"tires on, do you which track that was at by any chance?

Cheers
Marc

I built the rig in my sig just for u4rc. It worked great in the rocks and the fast stuff. I don't think there was a stock part left but it held up fine.

Hi frdtrkguy,

That's a great build and great info, Am looking for a new U4RC build project and was wondering if the IFS/IRS combo of an EXO would actually perform well and be a good start point. I race a Yeti already but was looking for something different.

Cheers

I saw a pretty basic exo with big power and big tires kick some butt on the old Glen helen track. Of course there was an excellent driver at the controls.

Third series I believe.
