Default Full independent suspension?

Im new to the U4 scene and was wondering if anyone has built a fully independent U4 rig?

I'd take a look at the rules, I'm not sure that IRS is legal in any of the classes.

It was legal in the 2.2 Open class, I'm not 100% sure that it still is.

The Exo based rigs used to struggle around the original Glen Helen track, but they might be better on our current tracks

im on the east coast and our truck is just now starting the U4 thing. im running a yeti but im always doing projects of some sort. our rules are pretty relaxed right now so im not worried about that. im just wondering if anyone has built a specific u4 independent truck.

Yes, IRS is legal in the "Yeti/Exo Pro" class. I have attached the new rules that were just released. I will also put them in the "current rules" thread in this section.
We have expanded our class structure to accommodate the big separation we were witnessing in some of our classes. Basically now "fairly stock" rigs and "highly modified" will not be scored against each other.

Our hope is to keep U4 newbs from being discouraged by having to compete with pro level racers and pro level rigs.

Oh yeah, to answer your question, YES. We have seen (in first series) fully custom hand fabbed IRS and we have also seen modified Exo rigs run. If I remember right and Exo based rig won or placed very highly in one of the earlier series. Hope this info helps....

heres the reason i ask.. a little project im working on. you can follow it in traxxas crawlers.

my yeti cage on my pede 4x4 with super swampers...
