Getting in to the U4 rig

Hey guys just got me a matzilla chassis. And bought nmyself a used scx10 to use axles and electronics as donor rig. Also bought some wraith shocks but will also have the scx10 ones. Do I need a wraith transmission or scx10 transmission? Also are those rigs capable crawlers? Like scx10 rig or more of just rock racing and gunning the lines. New to this U4 stuff so thought I could get some info thanks in advance

Nice... you'll love that chassis.

I run both scx10 and wraith, the diff being that the latter may give you better drive shaft lengths, not too long. Both are strong I might give the wraith a bit of an advantage, use good bearings, steel gears, etc.

This chassis will do both, if a rock racer make sure you keep in mind at all time your COG..., this will make or break your rig. Lighter oils than a strict crawler, or if both then somewhere in between, the 30 wt of Axial is a good starting point for both. Use the wraith shock.

Good Luck bro, post pics when done..."thumbsup"
