The Soul Of A New Machine (Injora Rock Bouncer Build) I bought this Injora Rock Bouncer a few weeks ago. I find it might be my main squeeze. In that process I thought I would document it as I go. Non Modified: https://hosting.photobucket.com/imag...080&fit=bounds https://hosting.photobucket.com/imag...080&fit=bounds First Modification (Shocks): The shocks had to be replaced first as the shocks that came with it were crap. I installed ShareGoo Metal Shock Absorber 110 MM units. https://hosting.photobucket.com/imag...080&fit=bounds https://hosting.photobucket.com/imag...080&fit=bounds Now I have stripped down the chassis for major modifications. Besides the shocks I mentioned previously I made some Rebound Dampers for the suspension. I saw some a while back on YouTube and realized I could make better units out of electrical connectors and hair ties. You can see them in these photos. https://hosting.photobucket.com/imag..._141851_1_.jpg https://hosting.photobucket.com/imag..._141838_1_.jpg https://hosting.photobucket.com/imag..._141828_1_.jpg https://hosting.photobucket.com/imag..._141818_1_.jpg Well I wont spoil the rest but lets say I have around 200 bucks of mods incoming. Wish I could think of a name for this beast :) |
Re: The Soul Of A New Machine Note: I am considering trying a pen-spring mod instead of the dampers I have here. I like both but the internal shock rebound damping with the pen-springs might be less complex. Ill make sure to discuss the elastic straps I used before I change out (if I do). |
