| Starting in 2009, Nationals invites will no longer given to individual clubs. 75 Invitations will be distributed among the 50 states. To get 75 bids divided up among 50 took some effort, so some states will be combined together to form a "mini" regions , and some will be divided in half (CA and TX). Most are organized into single states with 2 bids. Once we have a complete club listing the final distribution of bids will be made public. States/Regions that have only 1x sanctioned clubs will send drivers based on their season Points Series. (Same as it was in the past) States/Regions that have MULTIPLE sanctioned clubs will have a Nationals Crawl-Off before National invites are sent out. Each club will send will its TOP 5 Drivers to a mutually agreed upon location. Each Club will build an equal number of course, and the winner(s) go to Nationals. Failure to reach a mutual agreement will result in that state/region forfeiting all its bids! Each club participating its states Crawl-Off will need to have its series completed by June 1st each year. Then sometime in June the state crawl off needs to be held, so you can turn in your states Nats bids on July 1st. If for some reason the 1st and/or 2nd place driver cannot accept the Nationals Invite in maybe passed down to the next highest ranked driver with in the Top 5.This applies to all club invites determined by Crawl-Off or Point Series as described above. Clubs are required to run a minimum of 4 competitions for each class they want to qualify for Nationals between Jan 1st- July 1st or prior to its State/Region Crawl Off. Because of the 75 bid limit some states could only receive 1x bid. Selections on geographic size, club size, and past years Nationals attendance by that state. The 1x bid clubs would get first crack at any unused bid to fill their second slot. Bids for the USRCCA Nationals distributed to the state(s) as follows. 2X Bid States (1) ALABAMA (2) ARIZONA (3) ARKANSAS/ MISSISSIPPI/LOUISIANA (4) CALIFORNIA (North) (5) CALIFORNIA (South) (6) COLORADO (7) New England/CONNECTICUT/ VERMONT /MASSACHUSETTS/RHODE ISLAND/NEW HAMPSHIRE ( (9) GEORGIA (10) ILLINOIS (11) INDIANA (12) KENTUCKY (13) MICHIGAN (14) MINNESOTA (15) MISSOURI (16) MONTANA (17) NEBRASKA (1 (19) NEW JERSEY (20) NEW MEXICO (21) NEW YORK (22) NORTH CAROLINA/ SOUTH CAROLINA (23) NORTH DAKOTA/ SOUTH DAKOTA (24) OHIO (25) OKLAHOMA (26) OREGON (27) PENNSYLVANIA (2 (29) TENNESSEE (30) TEXAS (East) (31) TEXAS (West) (32) WASHINGTON (33) VIRGINIA/ WEST VIRGINIA 33x 2= 66 1x Bid States (1) ALASKA (2) KANSAS (3) WISCONSIN (4) HAWAII (5) MAINE (6) MARYLAND/DELAWARE (7) WYOMING ( (9) IDAHO 9x 1= 9 bids Last edited by Fishmaxx; 07-22-2011 at 07:44 AM. | Many states have asked if they can expand the Crawl-Off to include additional unsanctioned clubs or area drivers. This is acceptable, However it must be mutually agreed upon by ALL sanctioned club in that state/region. If all the sanctioned clubs of that state/region cannot reach a mutual agreement about the modified format they must use the format described in post #1 by default Last edited by Fishmaxx; 05-07-2009 at 11:05 PM. |
