if you look at it a MOA crawler will out proform a shaft driven one. yeah I know the whole "a driver with better skills can beat a MOA wirh a shafty" just throw that away for this. take 2 crawlers set up the same (or as the same as you can get) the MOA will crawl better than the shaft driven. I have both, and my berg outcrawls my shafty. anyhow I was just wondering. could someone post the thread link please. thanks |

I do believe it is what a driver is comfortable with. Take Austin Dunn for example. He has run both types and I am way more scared of him with a shafty than when he was running a berg. A shaft rig can beat a MOA the second you think one cain't is when someone will hand you your butt with one |

I just love it when a guy buys a MOA because he thinks it's an advantage and then gets beat by a shaftie or better yet shafies that just makes my day how embarrassing. |

There has been a few times this year I would have killed to have my shafty . The OCM/Berg are a beast but a shafty will shine on courses the OCM/Berg hate . Just looks at the mix of rigs in the top 5 at Nationals . 3 OCM/Bergs 1 TLT ( WHAT , WHAT IS THAT ? ) shafty maybe :-P 1 Axial ( what another shafty ) |

i dont think the spred of competion is that far apart. once something else comes out that is over the top it should be slpit but far a moa vs shafty its more of a challenge to beat the berg which is good to have ... everyone likes a challenge sometimes. if not get a bergg |

The berg has an easier time climbing the impossible lines, so it's a great rig to show off to your friends about how it can do this instead of being fast or whatever, but a shafty is typically more consistent.
