Hey Dirk, you still thinking about heading out Sunday weather permitting???

For those who havent seen 801RCC is heading out to lil Moab on Sunday the 8th...

I probably wont be out there tomorrow:-(, But I will see yall in St. George"thumbsup"

Alright guys, I just got home from the St. George Comp. Overall i had a really great time and I'm sure everyone else did as well. The weather was perfect! This comp is up there in one of my favorites. The courses were awesome; It was new territory, lots of elevation between the start and finish gate(which i love), great judging, the courses flowed really smoothly and overall just a great time. If you missed out i feel sorry for you. There were 75 Competitors not to mention the HUGE number of people watching, hiking and enjoying the outdoors.

We had a TON of really good drivers, each one capable of pulling off a win. But it was Tim aka Tunner who drove flawlessly and pulled off the victory. Next runner up was none other than Naz-T. Naz-T was able to pull off second just trailing Tim even after judging all day long. And then there's Kelly, a semi-new guy who came out of no where and proved he could drive.

Late in the day NazT was looking real good, and was matching Snowman run for run. But had his rig shut down half way though course 4. The repair knocking him back to the 4th spot. Tunner pulled off some great driving too finishing in 5th just a few points behind 4th. Great driving guys, I had a blast.

Thank you to all the Judges, and for everyone that helped clean up. Huge thanks to everyone that came out to support 801RCC. You guys are what makes 801RCC the best crawling club around. Thanks.

The next comp down there is Oct 10th - Utah State champs @ St. George, hope to see ya out there.

Also keep an eye on eight01rcc.freeforums.org as well, there are a bunch of st. george guys on there. I met quite a few of them at the last comp. They said they hold GTG's and get 20 or so people that show up.

that would be sweet i need some one to crawl with. and can anyone join the comps?

Yep everyone is welcome to come out and compete no matter what skill level you are at. Plus it's free so you have nothing to lose.

Well this last comp was really tough, i didn't too so well but the terrain was awesome, challenging but pretty fun.
