I'm in two all the above, except for heli's and boats. The Rig I have is a Gmade R1 which is considered a comp crawler and it looks like most of the events that 801Rcc runs are scale/ultra4 comps that I do not qualify nor am interested in. I like to crawl for fun and competition comes second really. I like those invovled in the crawler scene, but there's never just a fun crawl or open to all rigs comp that everyone can enjoy without worrying about what class they may be in.

I am only interested in comp crawling. 801 has a monthly comp crawling competition.

I wouldnt be too worried about what class youre in. Just plan on coming out and having fun. Even if youre not within spec you would still be able to run, but its something you would have to take care of if you want to be serious and compete.

Yeah I'm not worried about my rig meeting comp specs, since I really don't care to do competitions. I am more for going out having a good time and with other hobbiest and learn new things together. It is hard to find people that are just in it for the fun rather than the comp aspect of crawling. Maybe there needs to be a club created for those who like to crawl for fun, fun crawlers united!

I know this post is a few months old now. But I'm in the same boat. I have a Wraith that I feel is just as capable as anyone else's. I just have no desire to compete. If rather head to Black Rock, Little Moab or Topaz just to see what I can do with this thing. I live in West Valley. For the most part I am ALWAYS up for taking the r/c out. Send me a message. Lets get some crawlin or trailin done!
