Vanquish VS4-10 Sway Bar Question

Has anyone put the Currie Sway Bar listed as an option for the VS4 on theirs? I am clueless on it's installation and it appears there are not any instructions available from Vanquish. A pic of one installed would be great. I have never used a sway bar before so no idea. Thanks!

Re: Vanquish VS4-10 Question

Am I the only one to buy a rear sway bar for a VS4-10 from Vanquish? Still no picture of one mounted.

You might be!:)

Seriously though, I do not have it on my VS4-10. I believe I remember seeing a pic of one mounted a few months back on FB, but I have no idea which group I saw it on.

Sorry, no real help from me, but maybe somebody else here has more info on it than i do.

I know I have seen it done before, just don't remember exactly where.

There are no sway bar mounts so you have to get creative. Here is a pic I found to give you a general idea.

Re: Vanquish VS4-10 Question

The sway bar installs thru the area of the chassis with the bosses that are flat. However in the Origin Limited, we utilized those positions for the additional aluminum brace. No additional mounts are required but it eliminates the new rear brace mounting.

Does that make sense?

Well that explains why I was not sure where it went on my Origins. What about on the Pro chassis kit, the same?

Same position but the hole is now available for use as the new chassis braces fill the rails and attach at different locations. Sway bar will bolt right in.

Just for shits and giggles how about some pictures with one installed or possibly a video. It might help to see one installed for some that are actually thinking of picking one up.

Just a thread we never saw.

If I had installed one myself I'd post a photo. I'll try to make it a point to do so the next time I have a chance.
