Are you sure that is Traxxas MSRP price and not a retail price?

Chassis kit went together flawlessly. It pretty much just falls together like my VS4-10 did. The chassis feels nice and stiff with all the bracing that it has. I like how the front brace has the winch guide built in.

@b-mow can you tell any differences from your vs4-10 chassis?

Would you mind posting a side shot with it next to a stock chassis trx4?

Wondering if that rear fuel cell will interfere with the cage on a Honcho body. are the body post dimensions exactly the same as a SCX10.2?

It was the price on their web page, may be full shot retail like the $110 of the Vanquish. But you can buy the Vanquish using a coupon discount on AMain's sight but they do not allow a discount on Traxxas.

Looks like the front body post is the same. Rears may need new holes made. The rear of the cage does hit fuel cell unless you raise the body up a little.

Also interested to know if the body posts are in the same position as the stock chassis. For bumpers that mount outside the frame rails, does the mounting height change at all in relation to the sliders? I'm curious if the Wertymade and custom bumpers i have will fit the same.

Any plans to offer a center skid for the 2-speed kit transmission?

The chassis rails are identical. The only difference is the front & rear brace and the sliders.

It comes with an additional bracket that is not listed in the instructions. I think it may be a servo mount for a DIG unit.

I really like the layout and stiffness of the chassis kit. For the price, this looks to be a great chassis for many build options.

Thanks for picture it really helps. It seems like the body posts would line up if you transferred over the offset ones from the axial chassis to this VP chassis. I am so torn right now between upgrading my rig to this chassis, or buying a full set of SSD axles. I gotta decide by tomorrow so I can use RPP's 15% off Memorial discount!

It’s hard to really tell much as it’s tough to get any real perspective of the two and I’m still sitting at full bump until my springs arrive. But I love the stance and layout. The motor and battery are both significantly lower, plus I have dig and I love that!

What's the best way to adjust the rock sliders? I'm just using some spacers for now.

The Chassis kit rock sliders are intended to be a generic slider thats narrow and wont interfere with most body options.

Vanquish will have slider options available in the future to fit other bodies. The Origin sliders are much wider and longer for example and would work well with most full width bodies on the market. The clear and black anodized Origin sliders should be available in the the next month or so.

Looks great! Thank you. Inspirational build for sure.

Any issues with the steering geometry and portals or were you able to use the links that came with the kit?

He mentioned in his video that he had to make links for it to work, however they may start offering them for people interested in using trx4 axles with this chassis
