No Idea. If I had to guess I would think they are very similar. Traxxas did a great job adding sufficient bracing to their chassis.

Depends on which version, I'd say it's pretty close to the sport chassis with the sliders, battery tray, and everything else. The Bronco version has the big hard plastic fenders so that would probably pad the weight a little higher.

I am a big fan of the Traxxas chassis for that reason. It doesn't have the Axial flex.

Yes, I meant the stripped down TRX-4 chassis like that of the Sport which would be the most comparable to the Vanquish chassis kit.

Haha! I bet someone bought one yesterday and is kicking themselves today.

Would you mind dropping the specifics on the lower spec parts? I haven’t looked into it.

$110 seems like a good deal to me as well. $220 for this and the chassis kit makes for a killer foundation.

I asked this question with complete sincerity, what makes this new Vanquish transmission better then the other trannys from other manufacturers? I ask because I have no idea. Thanks

Looks like a great price on the trans. I will eventually swap in the aluminum pieces and gears when they become available.

The motor plate and support braces are plastic instead of aluminum and the gears are sintered instead of machined.

The reasons I’m keen on it...

Forward motor. Low profile/low motor for cog benefits. 6.5% OD from the transmision (add axle OD to get another 10%). It has an optional Dig available. And its vp tough with vp customer support behind it

And forward.

The only caveat you need an offset front axle to clear any driveshaft interference.

Is this confirmed? Or a theory?

Fairly certain about this because of the skid/forward motor.

This is confirmed! It does require an offset axle.

Here is a pic of mine:

I have some theory about trx4 axle being offset enough. You all may get an update about that sometime, depends on if I can bring myself to actually pull the trigger.
