Default Chassis kit question

Will the Element Senduro transmission work with the Vanquish battery tray? Or should I stick with the Axial trans?

Pondering next build;
Vanquish chassis kit
Element trans
AR44 axles

I believe it to be the identical mount pattern...

I have a set of AR60's also. Thought about that to.

I know that the mounting holes are the same for both trans but just wanted to know if the battery tray and element trans will have the clearance for a 3s lipo in the tray.

Overdrive gears are $40ish and the Element trans is $50. I can spend $10 more and have a complete trans.

The Enduro kit tranny comes with the plastic overdrive gears. Or maybe you're comparing to overdrive gears for the Axial axle.

Yes on comparing the overdrive.
Since I need a trans and if there is enough clearance for a 3s lipo in the tray I'll go that route.

Well one thing I'll add is the Enduro tranny outputs and motor sit pretty high compared to an Axial tranny. I just spent part of the afternoon lowering my Enduro tranny

Look here at the picture at the bottom of this post, it shows how high the tranny is compared to the skid Elements: An Enduro kit build by SVT

Thank you for that link. Dang that trans and motor are high.
Could it be possible to tilt the trans to the motor side by shaving some material off?
It would be sweet if there was a laydown trans/gearbox like in the 1/10 buggies.

I have chassis swapped my Enduro to the VS4 chassis and it was all pretty smooth. I have a video on it that I need to finish still.

Cool. How's the clearance between the battery tray and trans/gearbox?

I was likely just going to drop the video. I really didn't take many pics.

Ok sweet! Just let us know.
I just got the chassis and put it together. Waiting to decide on trans/gearbox that I will use.

When should we expect the video to drop? I really want to see this.

If it's not out yet, I wouldn't expect it until after Axialfest, since I'm pretty sure he's going.
