Not sure how much of a drive it would be for you but it’s worth the drive IMO. If you do plan to go call ahead first as the could be rebuilding the course. They try to change it up often. People were nice pits were nice and on site shop made it even better.

Spirit hobby looks sweet! Really cool pics and the truck is a beauty. Glad it’s performing well for you, definitely a heck of a platform they have here with the VFD. |

Me Valentines Day gift showed up last night. I know it doesn’t offer any performance gains but it sure does look nice sitting up there Looking forward to getting it installed and maybe a little detail work on it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Did some tinkering around over the weekend with the front motor cover. I had some issues with the fit of the cover. The cover is designed for both servos to sit flat on the servo mount brace. Both of mine are raised to fit for clearance issues The bottom of the cover starts out looking like this After some sanding here’s the end result The cover now drops into place with no problems Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The new motor is a perfect fit now but something was just “off”. After a couple emails the problem was solved. Breathing some life into the motor now. I am really happy with the new look. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by carpetfuzz17; 02-06-2021 at 08:26 AM. |

Can you please explain your SSD shock setup? What oil weight are you running? What springs? Why did you change the ball swivel links in the rod ends? Did they fit on the axles without some modifications?

As for the ball swivels I was at a local competition and they were in a vendors booth. They are the VP brass balls. I had to file the ends down a little bit to get them to fit but was no problem. A couple passes on the file and they fit just fine. If I remember correctly the SSD balls fit also with no problems. If I wouldn’t have seen the VP brass ones I would have just used the SSD ones.
