Hey I think it turned out great!

I like how the gun metal turned out as I am a big fan of gun metal. That's why most of my rigs have different shades of the gun metal on them.

Glad to hear VP got you fixed up with the shims for the rear axle. You'll have to let us know how they work out.

It's been my experience that you just need one super thin coat of gunmetal before backing it with black. Otherwise, it's just a slightly dark silver.

That being said, I think your truck looks really good.

Thanks

I like the gun metal also. I did a SC body once with it and decals from AE of their Rockstar truck. All the yellow and red against the gun metal really popped. I really liked that color combinations and thought of doing it again.

You are right they do look like twins guess it's time to a different color body if only I could get me hands on another Origin body

Thanks buddy

I knew I should have stuck with me plan A for the color but it was a last second change up that didn't work out. Overall still pleased with how it came out. Next time I am sticking to plan A

I think the gunmetal turned out good fuzz! Gunmetal goes good with pretty well any color. Your inspiration pic looks real good too. Kind of a matte gunmetal. Keep up the good work my friend!

When I painted this body, the coat of gunmetal was so thin that I was worried that it wouldn't show up at all when I did the black coat.

Default Carpetfuzz's VS4-10 PRO

Decided I would try out the Holmes Hobbies 20T motor.

I wanted to try something different. I cut down some Holmes Hobbies battery plugs and soldered them to the tabs. Made them just slightly longer than the plug. This should make it easier to remove the motor without having to unsolder every time plus it I think it keeps it looking tidy.

This is for Sherbs
I decided to go with the Axial offset ends as they gave me the clearance I was looking for. Overall it preforms as it should. Very easy to install. Only thing that is needed is a longer screw for the bottom mount after that it’s simple.

Thanks! I now see the forrest thru the tree's. My confusion with installation was just plain over-thinking it on the placement.

On the Pro chassis it’s very easy to do.
I did paint the links and turned out really good. It kinda blends in now.
I also like the look of the Antirock arm

Took advantage of some free time and started working on running wires. Me first thought was to use the fuel cell in the rear. With the odd shape of it just couldn’t make it work like I wanted to.

So I scratched that idea and decided to try the opposite side of the chassis. This turned out to be the best spot for me. The me nemesis of wires began

Finally after a couple hours it is done. Almost just want to cover 2 more wires but it passes for me
