Default Element IFS on a VS4?

Has anyone tried the Element IFS kit on the VS4-10 chassis yet? I did the IFS conversion on one of my SCX10ii rigs, but I’m not too keen on relocating the battery to one side. I’ve got a VS4-10 chassis conversion on another SCX10ii, and definitely like the battery placement on that setup. I’m just wondering if anyone’s done the IFS on a VS4, and if so, did you run into any clearance issues between the front edge of the battery tray & the relocated steering servo? Oh, and just to make things more interesting, throw an Element Stealth trans in there too... needed to overdrive the front to get some tighter turning from the locked IFS, but there’s no OD ring/pinion combos that will fit the front diff case.

Ernie did a little bit of a mock up of this...

Not a direct fit, but with a few changes it may.

Will need to use 100mm shocks to get full travel.

And I need to see if a Sendero skid will fit to make the rear mount fit.

I will work on it a little more tomorrow.

Yeah, I saw that. My main concern is clearance between the servo & battery tray, which really wasn't shown.

Was going to mount my battery on one of the slider mounts.

That’s where I’m at with the SCX10ii that the IFS is on now. I was thinking of moving it to the VS4 conversion I did for the battery weight distribution, but I guess if the battery will wind up on a slider anyway, I’ll just leave it as is.
