Default Dravtech spring rates?

Anyone running Dravtechs on their vs4-10? I’m knee deep in converting my scx10.3 to a pro chassis w/ vfd. I’d like to use the dravtechs but not sure what springs to start with. I have a set on a speed build but I think the mini T front springs will be too soft.

On my Ultra, I'm running firm on front with medium rear. I do have steel bumpers & run a 5000mah battery.

I got the Mini T rear spring set, I was told on FB to run medium up front, firm in the rear. What oil are you using?

I'm not running actual Dravtech shocks but I do use Dravtech springs on TRX-4 shocks with the Dixieland RC shock mod that allows you to use Mini-T sized springs. I prefer to use the Dravtech softs front and rear on my lighter rigs, but on a heavier rig like a VS4-10 or TRX-4, I like to use the Dravtech Mediums front and rear.

I collected the following from the Dravtech website which includes spring rate details and comparisons between Losi Mini-T springs and the Dravtech springs. Hope this is helpful.

Mini-T Springs / Dravtech Springs

Dravtech Ultra soft is softer than Mini-T pink
Dravtech Soft is the same as Mini-T pink
Dravtech Medium is the same as Mini-T red

Dravtech Spring Colors:

Ultra soft = white
Soft = Black
Medium = Red
Hard = Green

DravTech Springs compared to the Losi Mini-T front springs in regards of spring rate

PN Color lbs/in. N/mm Notes
DravTech White .40 lbs./in 0.07 N/mm Ultra Soft
Losi Pink .74 lbs./in 0.13 N/mm
DravTech Black .79 lbs./in 0.14 N/mm Soft
Losi Red 1.43 lbs./in 0.25 N/mm
Dravtech Red 1.43 lbs./in 0.25 N/mm Medium
Losi Orange 2.00 lbs./in 0.35 N/mm
DravTech Green 2.00 lbs./in 0.35 N/mm Hard
