Ended up getting about 5 hours running time with this rig today. As expected, it ran good. Basically this rig is the same setup as my Ultra with the exception of the axles, the motor (both use an HH torque master pro. The Ultra has a 27T and the Pro uses the 35T version) and the shocks. This motor has a little more power to it, so I may swap it into the Ultra to see what that does. The Traxxas shocks did really well with the 40wt oil all around, something I wasn’t sure was going to work out. Probably leave it that way for now. Best part, they don’t leak! Here are a few photos from today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yeah, I’m in the same boat. I do as many free/cheap modifications I can to change it with my taste at that moment until I get a Christmas present for my self Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Here are a couple of comparison photos of the axles for the Ultra and the Pro going over the same jagged rock at CDM. This rock is easily avoidable but it shows the ground clearance differences between the two rigs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Got out for a very quick session this past weekend. Have enough time behind the controller now to get a feel for changes that I would like to try. Going to work on tweaking the shock setup a little to bring the CG down some. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Great pics of the PRO out on them beautiful CDM rocks! Are those the Traxxas GTS TRX-4 shocks? I'm running the Traxxas GTS shocks on my Origin with 40wt all around and love how smooth the suspension is. I run very little pre-load so that chassis is close to sitting on top of the axles. Lets it sit low with low COG and it handles like a dream. It is very predictable and is pretty much point and shot! |

Sure are! I think you recommended them to me in another thread. Love them and am running the 40wt on all fours as well. Was a little unsure about that weight at first but I got over it real quick once I got out for the first time. Love hitting up CDM too, a ton of fun lines, could stay there for days. Plan on 2021 is to find some other fun spots too.....the search is on! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

While the window trim stickers that come with the kit look decent and add to the overall look of the body, I knew they wouldn’t last too long. Mine took a beating the last few runs and were basically falling off. Enter my trusty Molotow chrome pen! Touched up the drivers door tonight to get a feel for how this will look. A little more subtle than the stock decals but I think in the sunlight it will standout a little more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Looks great and gives it a classic look! Nice and easy to touch up too! My Origin window trim is starting to get a little ragged on the edges. Might have to try that! On my PRO, I just painted all of the window trim black so that I didn't have to deal with it! |

Life finally presented the opportunity to get back out to CDM this morning. Spent time searching for new lines as well as crawling some old favorites. Beautiful day to be out. Great weather! Need to do these “me” days a little more often! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Finally got around to doing a once over after my last outing and realized the shoulder bolt on the right front knuckle was missing. I swapped in the left side to make sure nothing was stripped and luckily the threads were still OK. Must have just vibrates loose and fell out on a rollover. Added some thread lock to both sides for extra security and it’s good as new. Thought I would share for knowledge of others so you don’t have to scrap a run cause of a missing part like I did. What's the name of those chrome pens? They seem really handy to have for controlled small detail work.

Molotow. They have different sizes and do work well for small parts and detail. Molotow Liquid Chrome Alcohol Paint Pump Marker, 2mm, 1 Each https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01E7EG3NM...A3K2WXYC6NZKM8 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
