| Rear portal OD?
Looking at building a rear portal / standard front axle. Watched Harleys build where he used portal OD gears in the rear to balance out the gearing, but looking at all the Vanquish site, says the OD gears are recommended for front axle only? Any reason why?

Have to look it up but In assume it has to do with Gear reduction in the portals. Without overdrive gears installed the overdrive (as result of the portal reduction) will be over the top. Over driving the rear will bring the front- and back axle speed somewhat closer together. I think.... |

Yes overdrive gears will work in the rear. They go in the portal boxes, which are the same gear configuration.
