Yeah… if it helps, your money is likely going to a Phoenix and free set of wheels

My bad.

Anybody else thinking the free wheel offer is uncharacteristic of vp? I mean I guess they’ve had the same deal on the ultra since around the time the Phoenix came out. But I’m convinced the ultra is somewhat outdated with the advent of the f10 axles.

Obviously I’m hoping for a straight axle version of the Phoenix to be released, or better yet a straight axle kit as an option part.

Think the ultra will be discontinued, and/or a straight axle variant of the Phoenix will be released? Or are they freeing up wheel inventory for new wheel options?

A few weeks after the Phoenix was released, during one of Josh's live streams, someone asked that very question. Obviously, I don't know if there have been any changes since that point in time...but, Josh did say there were no plans for a straight axle version.

Yes I remember that, but vp is also very tight lipped about new product.

And, it gets even better. Not sure when it ends...but, order $299, or more (directly from Vanquish), and you also get a free Vanquish pit mat.

I find mine a bit loud, but you also have to consider all the gears and such turning inside of the transmission. That being said, mine isn't any louder than any of the ones on YouTube

it’s not the gears. when i press on the front of the cover it is MUCH quieter which suggests the cover is acting like a resonating chamber.
