I've been out of the game for awhile. Finally VP made a more reasonably priced rig, so I jumped on it. This will be my 1st kit, I usually bought artr or rtr, looking forward to actually building this. What is a good esc/motor combo for this kit?

| ![]() Second this. A lot of people think you need to dump "high quality" just because its Vanquish. For a shift servo? Nah the Amazon specials or whatever you have left over from an RTR will be fine

| ![]() I've got a couple low profile savox servos on a couple paved oval cars I used to race. Not the cheapest, but I've got them and gonna put them to good use.

The way Vanquish engineered the shifting mechanism, I can't imagine it would need a high quality servo to shift it, but then I haven't recieved by truck yet and I am still learning about the electronics. How cool is it to have a shiftable overdrive though..... |
