Phoenix chassis is back together… thanks to Fricker08 for several of the components needed -Ar45 straight axles -Phoenix links with the incision ar45 front upper and panhard -element stealth trans 10% gears on a vp skid -10.3 driveshafts -trx4 shocks from my f9 Capra -Holmes Crawlmaster sport 13t with a 17t pinion -HW 1080 -temporary protek 370 with vp 20mm horn -vp roosts and Pitbull growlers reused from the f9 Capra/stock phoenix -temporary 3D printed shock towers, may get some cut from aluminum because i like them so far. Kind of slapping this together last minute to go run tomorrow morning, haven’t been to my actual crawling spot since October I think. If I like the rig enough as is, my long term plan will be reducing overall weight as much as possible while still using the vs410 rails. Which, likely would mean new body, using lighter chassis braces and bumper mounts, etc. I also just want a basic all around rig to actually drive since everything else I have is a huge project in various stages of completion |

| Re: Fricker08’s…. Now Twade984’s Vs4-10 Phoenix Last minute I swapped on some krawlers and CI foams. Truck performed better than expected. I also went ahead and ordered some of the shock towers I designed to be cut out of aluminum. Still pretty lukewarm on the body, can’t get over the size of the cab, plus it’s pretty well cracked by now. Definitely will be changing the body down the road. Other than that I don’t plan on too many changes, this could end up being a rig I drive more than a lot of others. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I can confirm that this thing handles quite well! It’s also buttery smooth. Had a good day wheeling a total of about 9.5 rigs today between Tom, his son and myself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thanks man. For something I basically slapped together with spare parts and minimum investment, I enjoyed driving it more than I thought I would. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Swapped my temporary 3D printed shock mounts for some 3mm aluminum versions. Also added my Phoenix style electronics trays, and an aluminum servo mount style tray out of 2mm aluminum. I will end up making a few tweaks on the shock mounts and probably have the next set cut out of 2mm. I think I have a new body lined up, but it will be a bit before that gets mounted. |

| Re: Fricker08’s…. Now Twade984’s Vs4-10 Phoenix Thank you sir. Just like getting a 3D printer, using sendcutsend opens up a whole new world of opportunities. I highly recommend every look into it if you’re already designing your parts for 3D printing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Just plain looks good too! I'll have to take a closer look at Sendcutsend. I really like how the items you had made turned out! |

Thanks for the kind words You definitely should check out send cut send. Their pricing is more than reasonable on all the aluminum parts I’ve done. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Well the ar45 Phoenix is officially done. There’s a pile of parts left that will find their way into a new rig soon, and the chassis is heading to it’s new home… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

What this is turning into should be a pretty sweet replacement. Maybe someday I’ll give the Phoenix a chance haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

A lot of good work on that crawler. I like the interior especially. I'll be copying that wire loom and you have me thinking about investing in a 3D printer too. Might need a little help on that. |
