Default Ascender RTR

Finally, an Ascender for people who are lazy.....err....prefer RTRs. The best I can tell it is the same as the kit version.

Well, that explains why I found a link for a prepainted K-5 body last night.

I just took mine up to the lhs to show him. The kit in UK is £249 and he quoted £339 for the RTR. I guess there will be quite a few that buy this though. I wonder how good the esc is. Could it be a good budget option?

The ESC is a Hobbywing 1060 with a slightly different heat sink. I run those all the time. really reliable little escs for $20.

Beyond the electronic side, do you know if the mechanic is the same? Like metal steering links and suspension links?

The mechanical parts look identical to me. One thing I noticed is that when showing the steering lock, the servo is removed. I don't know if the stock servo would provide full steering. I may be wrong though.

You guys will most likely see one of these before us poor Aussies actually get stock of the kit at Vaterra outlets. Is one or 2 guys that ordered from the US but those of us who are waiting to buy local cant get a definitive answer when we will see stock....

I believe the axial ae5 esc is based off of it also.

I run the wp-1060 in a sawback, two of them in my xr10

Never failed me.

I was looking at this and was wondering if someone could clarify that this is basically the kit that they put electronics in right?
