Something that I think would be cool would be a pickup with a drop bed and a removable cap. I sure you could make a quick release for it. I'm also a fan of the big military rigs. Maybe a body with a bunch of accessories to go with it? i.e. guns, lights, tools, antennas, etc? The car body on a truck frame? Nahhh

Over priced aluminum parts? They don't seem to be any more expensive than the axial stuff. I haven't bought any of the aluminum ascender parts yet but I'm betting they are probably better quality than the axial stuff too.

As mentioned, more truck bodies, Nissan D21 and the like. Personly , there's enough bronco bodies out there already. |

Car bodies on a truck chassis? Done before and I never got the point... Turning your Blazer body into a low rider might be cooler Other than that, I would love to see a decent Mercedes G or a Marauder |

El Camino body on a Suburban 4wd chassis: pick-up with a lower COG even though the ground clearance is that of the donor, looks cool, eh, but I'm a redneck, you wouldn't understand.

I'd love to see an old Nissan Hardbody truck. Or an Xterra since you have the Nissan license. Or even a Datsun or Patrol

I'll throw in here lol I dont like the car body jacked up look for anything other than a pure mud toy but its to each their own, I'll throw in my vote for the body you need to make next, ascender sized chevy stepside truck. If you do the same generation as the blazer you could save on new parts since they share bumpers/grille/lights etc but I would also love to see older ones too (there are about 0 60's chevy/gmc bodies available), maybe a suburban could even come along.

Here's my 2 cents Rich. Have to admit I am partial to the the "no top / removable top" idea. But perhaps vintage Baja bodies could be concidered, these are the grandfathers to the pre-runners. Bronco's, early '70's Chevy PU's, Ford F150's, Mopar's, really missing a good Mopar body. I think you guys have already proven that vintage sells. My "topless K5" Baja / Vintage iron |

That red 70's C10 done in a 2 piece mold with full back cab, & molded/chromed grille & tail lights would be awesome.

As far as the truck/car "trar" thing, uh, no. please stop now. As far as working on body designs with your existing licenses you should be making older Nissan D21 extended cab pickups and same era 1987-early 90's 2 door Pathfinders. The newer Xterras aren't ugly, but their not my thing. You really couldn't go wrong with a 2 piece 72 Chevy pickup. Offer two beds, a stepside, and a normal version please. A 90's era Bronco would seem natural. Now, looking behond your scope of liscences, you really need to offer a set of Scout bodies. I would be in for a Scout 800, a II, and a Travelall. Oh, and Please offer a T-100 and a real Tacoma body. |

Whatever new (and old!) truck bodies you make for the ascender platform, please make them big enough so the tires are covered without any crazy fender flares. That was really big point for me when i saw the ascender k5. Right dimensions is what makes a rc vehicle look realistic and not some "scale" details. Of course scale details help, but if the dimensions are off, it will look a damn rc toy from a mile away! And for the mustang body.... please NO! |

A nicely scaled version of the 1st gen. Blazers would be soooooo nice. Folks would by the leaf spring components from the Sawback by the truck load to have a leafy sprung Blazer.

sorry Rich I'm with most of the others , not a big fan of car bodies on 4x4s. I would much rather see some old school MILITARY bodies or some old school truck cabs w/o the bed, or anything out of the ordinary. please no more pickups or jeeps there are to many out as it is. |
