| Is there any Drive shaft alternatives ?
My LHS don't carry them in stock is there a alternative that I can use like a. Axial, losi, or traxxas part that will work to get me back rolling thanks guys Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

There is not any alternative. The K5's shafts are not like anything else out there at the moment. You have 3 choices. stock, upgraded HD shafts, which I have run to good success so far, and MIPs. Best place to find the HD shafts at this moment would seem to be Ebay. I have been wondering is a newer axial wild bore shaft could be fitted to the stock vaterra yokes with any success, as they seem to be similar in size, but I haven't had a chance to mess with it. There is a conversion kit from Italy, which allows the usage of Axial or other shafts http://thescalerstore.altervista.org...oducts_id/2347 Never tried them though |

MIP shafts. A bit pricey but one less link in the chain to break.

That is pretty cool! I have not seen those before. I already have MIP's on mine, but that is a nice alternative. Could use punishers or whatever you want with that.
