HI Ed, Sorry to hear about this. I have no control over the shipping situation. All the kits for Midwest and east coast are heading out today. West coast don’t ship until Tuesday so that everyone "should' get them at the same time. I wish there was something I could do to speed up delivery for you. I was trying to do my best to keep you all in the loop. Rich |

Re: New trucks wont be in till next week!! Really, you're upset over a couple days!?!?! I had pre-ordered the Yeti from Tower in June, it was shipped Parcel Post Aug 26th, and been sitting in Richmond, CA since the 27th. I think Vaterra has done a great job in getting the Ascender out as close to their original expected release date considering Axial kept pushing the Yeti release from July to August and then to September. Then they screwed all the hobby shops on the West Coast by not getting them Yetis for another 3 weeks after the initial release. Axial couldn't even get shipping right to the area where U4RC flourished. On top of Vaterra ONLY being a couple days late, at least they have a representative on here that is willing to take the time to communicate with the customers. I don't consider a 5-7 day delay a big deal when it comes to new releases so I applaud Vaterra for getting it pretty damn close. |
Re: New trucks wont be in till next week!! Rich Sorry I will clarify a bit: yes you said shipping next Tuesday, however one of Horizons reps told me shipping to Illinois should be next Thursday. I did take the two and put them together sorry for that. |
Re: New trucks wont be in till next week!! Amen gillbily23. I'm looking forward to this release as much as anyone. This is my first kit so I'm super pumped. I just appreciate an actual manufacturer rep being so forthright with the info in this forum. It was a constant guessing game and rumor mill with the Yeti release debacle. If Rich comes back on Tuesday and says it's going to be December, then I'll be pissed. Otherwise, I'm still still a huge huge Vaterra fan and will be working on my Blazer sometime in the next week OR SO. |
Re: New trucks wont be in till next week!! How come the UK won't have them until end of October? |
Re: New trucks wont be in till next week!! I ordered one. I'm in New Zealand, so have no idea when it'l turn up..... |

Yes I have a preorder with them. Oh well I guess I will have to wait.... |
Re: New trucks wont be in till next week!! It sucks that these got delayed another few days but in all reality it's not Vaterra or Horizon's fault. It's US Customs. Neither Vaterra or Horizon control when they process the containers. At least Rich has been open enough to share with us information about the kit as it becomes available to them. At least this isn't a yeti.... |

Best bet is to stay in contact with HDE and HUK. Rich |
Re: New trucks wont be in till next week!! So you're telling me it could be another week before my toy truck comes in the mail? Life is so hard! What am I going to do? Oh yeah, wait because it's just a little truck and it gets here when it gets here. |
Re: New trucks wont be in till next week!! Hi Rich, are shipments to Australia expected to be similar to the UK etc in terms of forecast dates? Cheers H2Micr0 |
