|  Ascender Body Swaps
I built my Ascender kit over the weekend but ran out of time to do the body. When cleaning up I had to move my Summit and it dawned on me to see what the bodies would look like swapped around. Not too shabby....    At least there are options right? |

Finished up the body and ran it under its own power this morning. Pleased with it so far.   Had to see it on the Summit  Running gear: Hitec 5595 Traxxas XL5 WP Traxxas 12T 550 So far so good. |

A little work on the Ascender has begun. Changed the battery tray over to an Axial Wraith style mounted between the front body mounts. Some RC4WD 1.55 white wagon wheels and mud thrashers add to the more scale appearance. Lowering the body as well as the axial swing away tire carrier add to it nicely as a scalable rig.   A few spacers and its a strong looking piece.    More to come. |

Looks good! You should get a panel gap pen and outline the doors/hood/tailgate. I'm thinking a proline roof rack might look good too.
