My hand-made inner fenders! This is my second attempt at it. Want something to shield the electronic from the mud and sand. Done with some leftover 0.040 aluminum sheet. Tomorrow will be it's maiden voyage! http://i112.photobucket.com/albums/n...ps51fvrnnr.jpg |
Re: My hand-made inner fenders! Let me know how well that works out been thinking about making some. |
Re: My hand-made inner fenders! Its tomorrow"thumbsup" |
Re: My hand-made inner fenders! Hehe... The only two problem I had so far, is the front section is open to the inner side. So when you are at full lock, you can still shoot mud into the battery tray. This will be resolved soon. The other problem, is when I got in real thick mud, the flat sections on the rock sliders will keep mud on it. I think I need some drain holes. For the rest, the added weight doesn't seem to impact performance. And the inner body is really kept clean. I like it.. More when I will close the front wheel wells! |
Re: My hand-made inner fenders! Any update on this? Anyone else made inner fenders that work? Purchasing ones at this point is a no go. Seems like they are doable? I was experimenting with some solo cups for design, let you know if anything works. |
Re: My hand-made inner fenders! I finally closed the front end inside fenders, the rest is as is.... it work fine! |
