Default Battery options

What is out there for a 3s pack that will fit in the stock tray?

I use these 2200mah packs from Value Hobby. They fit snugly and if you run the velcro strap up through the hole in the middle of the tray, it holds them nice and tight.

Value Hobby: GForce 30C 2200mAh 3S 11.1V LiPO (T Connector)

I've heard good things about those packs but haven't tried them yet. Nice to have 3s that fit the tray, I'm running 2s for now in mine, but have run sevearl 3s packs through it. The heavier packs help this truck out with the weight so low in the chassis. I like my 4500mah 2s packs, but need to look for large 3s packs that don't interfere with front shock tower and fit the stock battary tray.

Do not hesitate! I've been using that brand in 2,3,and 4 cell for the last few years and they work perfect. They all balance perfect every charge, and they discharge within .01v/cell which is great. I have to buy a couple more 3 cells for the semi I'm building.
