If this allows basically 3 settings as in, low for both axles, high for both axles, and high I the front only I'd be interested. Thanks

This modify does not permit Low speed for both axles.

Normally you drive in High speed, when you select overdrive, rear axle turn in low speed.

Got about two hours of run time with the overdrive mod. I had no issues and it worked flawlessly. Box stock the Ascender steering is awesome but with this mod I use reverse a lot less. I tried to get some video but I'm a mediocre driver normally but with a camera in my hand I totally suck. I'm really liking this mod and I like having the extra wheel speed with the overdrive off. I should get some more run video posted sometime this weekend.

I had my tranny apart but didn't check to see. RTR Ascender the trick runs in high gear or low gear?

RTR and Kit Ascender run in low gear.

I got some more running video. Just trying to show the difference with the overdrive on versus off. It's a huge difference. Had it in a bind a few times, shifting on the fly with zero issues.

I have ran this rig once a week since the upgrade and I have had zero issues with durability concerning the overdrive mod. Broke a couple of driveshafts in hard bind situations, toasted a servo but no problems with the mod. I have pulled it apart once for normal Maint and all was well.

I sent an email to him but haven't heard back yet. I'm ready to give it a shot and have a two speed ready and waiting to modify.

The mod is pretty straight forward. If you have any questions let me know.

That's great. I try to explain it to people and they tell me it seems complicated but until you do the mod you don't realize how simple it is. The Ascender already steers great but with that mod it's almost like having a dig.
