Get her one too!

If that doesn't work just remind her there are shadier and/or more expensive things you could be doing.

Pretend that you are interested in getting into much more expensive hobbies.

She will be relieved when you order $200 in RC parts instead of $5,000 of photography or home theater equipment.

Mine knows I could be into other stuff and she doesn't mind RC too much, she used to go with me back in my buggy racing days. She liked to watch them 'hop' around the track off jumps and all.

Rear frame brace and i got shock and axle peices on the way and then today i bought front axle shafts ssd rear links for 290 wheel base. Stainless hardware kit bearing kit and other odds and ends so basically i should be good to go for a while then when done i will decide on a leaf kit either sawback or tf2

I like stock shocks with both piston holes drilled to #55 drill bit size, 30wt oil front and rear. I've been driving my Ascender very hard and iirc have less play than that, remember to hold the driveshaft and opposite wheel (on same axle housing) still while feeling for play in the opposite axle shaft. Same goes when checking driveshaft play, you must hold both front wheels from rotating.

SSD diff covers and other aluminum upgrades look good.
