| Servo Winch in swb Bronco
With the steering servo being mounted across the width of the swb chassis, is there still enough room to properly locate and mount a servo for a winch?

Looking at the overhead shots on Vaterra's web site it looks like the battery tray may be the reason the servo is turned the way that it is. Can anyone confirm?

I'm just in the process of trialling a servo winch in this set up. My servo The output I'll be using The current gap Forced in till it just clears the steering servo horn The line of site from spool to fairlead I'm hoping to hold it in by firstly the tight grip already in place, servo tape it onto the current steering servo and then finally send a couple of pointed screws through that cross member horizontally so there bite into the servo casing slightly. The force angles should stop it from moving........but thats in the testing. I'm just waiting for a small ESC to arrive then I'll put my findings here. |
