And did you mean second to Poprivet's U.N.C.L.E!!, I don't think so!! Or was there another rig you were thinking about? Are you going to run your ascender there? I've been thinking about finishing the Ibec Camaro build also. We will see how my health cooperates.
Ernie
I was thinking more like second to me lol. I have yet to decide what to run. I may actually run my Sawback since scale points don't matter. Or the Monte Crawler. It's a true badass when I can pull my head outta my butt and drive it.

I think that ascender and SSD chubs and knuckles are all interchangeable so I would say yes on the chubs, no on the knuckles. We need to use a wraith knuckle in order to use the axial unis. SORRY! For now you won't be able to use your brass brake weights either. I'm working on a fix for that.

Actually, if its U.N.C.L.E. it's more like a DNF.
All you have to do is show up and enjoy the flock of people around your rig. That's better than any trophy. Last year I heard people making fun of the Monte. Not a great feeling when you've put a lot of thought and time into something, but I took 3rd, and the douche's didn't even come close to placing. Karma was on my side

I have a couple pair if new VP knuckles and yes you could use RCBROs system or Vanquish is making them again for the wraith knuckles, but I don't think they are legal at all scale comps.

I say to each his own if I like how it looks that is all that matters. If they don't like it they don't have to look at it!

I kmow they need to look like rotors pfft but maybe with the uni i can run weighted tires like the rest of the cheaters lmao i also thought about taking the the u bolts that hold leafsprings to axles and makeing weight perches. Dont get me wrong the axles by them selves r enough weight for normal people but when u go against these folks with a pound a tire u cant beat that

Dlux custom knuckles V2!
These would work and be scale comp legal.

I have a set on my IBEC Camaro build, and they are pretty cool. The only thing is you need a wheel with close to two inches of clearance on the back side. If you are interested, I could use mine to build your uni mod and then I could replace mine. Any 2.2 wheels should work, and I'm pretty sure most internal bead lock wheels would work.

I don't have any 1.9 methods so I couldn't tell you one way or the other. Measure the diameter of the back of your wheel and I will measure the knuckles and see what they are.

Near as I can tell, anything with a diameter that is 1 5/8" or more will work without having to do any shaving.

Ernie,
Those knuckles are pretty awesome, but i just don't see how they are scale comp legal and the Vanquish bolt on weights aren't.
Neither look scale in any way, but the Vanquish comes closer to scale if you ask me.

I know what the rules say, and why they say it. I'm just sayin they don't look like anything full size I've ever seen.

I think it is just a play on words that make them legal, I was just reading discussion again in the scale comp rules section. Because they are a weighted knuckle and not a bolt to knuckle weight they are legal. I agree they look like nothing 1:1 out there now.

I know the rules committee has said that the rule will not be changed any time soon.

Hey Pete, So what are you thinking you would like to do? My bronco and all of my parts are up at Lunsford Racing right now. Scott Hughes from Horizon is a good friend of Kelly's, and I have run a couple times with he and Don, his dad, anyway Scott wanted to take a look at some of the things I've done with the axles and unis. I'm going back up to Kelly's Monday to talk some more about a Titanium product line for our scalers. So I will have all my stuff back Tuesday.
