Default Vaterra Ascender Brass Brake Weight?

Hey guys have a question about these weights. Do u have to use the Vaterra hubs and rear lockout to mount these weights?

Yes, you do have to use the aluminum parts. The stock plastic parts don't have provisions to mount the brake weights.

And only the Vaterra aluminum pieces have the mounting hole. None of the current aftermarket companies make compatible pieces.
